To obtain a Certificate of Compliance permit; please completed the application and provide the required documents.. Payment must be submitted in the form of a cashier's check or money order only, personal checks are not accepted. Please make payment payable to Kinney County.
Applications may be dropped off at the County Judge's Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Once the Certificate of Compliance is issued, it will be forwarded directly to the electric company by the County Judge's Office. Please wait for the electric company to contact you regarding the next steps.
